The Apple Watch Ultra 2 in detail
How many years of updates does the Apple Watch Ultra 2 get?
In its PSTI statement, Apple gives September 22, 2023 as the date this model first went on sale in the UK. The brand commits to supporting it for at least 5 years from then, which means until September 22, 2028.
That leaves at least 1 year and 11 months of guaranteed patches.
This minimum already goes beyond what Apple delivered for the middle half of its smartwatches in our database (between 4 years and 5 years).
Do I need to do anything with my Apple Watch Ultra 2?
Nothing urgent. Support is guaranteed until at least September 22, 2028. Keep automatic updates switched on, because a patch only protects you once it's installed. If an end date is published, the alert above will tell you.
