Food has a best-before date printed on the label. Your phone has one too — the day its security updates stop — but nobody prints it anywhere. Manufacturers bury it in policy PDFs, support matrices and press releases, if they publish it at all.

Qevrulon puts the date on the label. Search your device, get the date, decide what to do with it: keep it, replace it, or hand it down for offline duty.

Why it matters: a device without security updates keeps working, but every new vulnerability found after that day stays open forever. Since June 2025, EU rules require smartphone makers to guarantee at least five years of updates — a good start, and a lot of fine print. We read the fine print so you don't have to.
