Apple Watch Series 10 will get security updates until at least September 20, 2029. That is Apple's written commitment, and the brand usually goes further. The date is a floor: support ends on that day or later. We will update this page as soon as a real end date is known.

The Apple Watch Series 10 in detail
How many years of updates does the Apple Watch Series 10 get?
In its PSTI statement, Apple gives September 20, 2024 as the date this model first went on sale in the UK. The brand commits to supporting it for at least 5 years from then, which means until September 20, 2029.
That leaves at least 2 years and 11 months of guaranteed patches.
This minimum already goes beyond what Apple delivered for the middle half of its smartwatches in our database (between 4 years and 5 years).
Do I need to do anything with my Apple Watch Series 10?
Nothing urgent. Support is guaranteed until at least September 20, 2029. Keep automatic updates switched on, because a patch only protects you once it's installed. If an end date is published, the alert above will tell you.
