Xiaomi 12T Pro

The Xiaomi 12T Pro in detail

How many years of updates does the Xiaomi 12T Pro get?

Released in October 2022, the Xiaomi 12T Pro received security patches until October 2026: 4 years in total.

Among the 118 Xiaomi phones in our database, 48 were supported for less time and 49 for longer. The median is 4 years.

Across all brands, the median for phones is 4 years.

Two schedules overlap here. New system versions stop in October 2025, security patches in October 2026. In between, the device stays on its last version but still gets fixes for security holes.

Can I keep using the Xiaomi 12T Pro?

Yes, it still works. But every security hole found after October 2026 stays open. For daily use with banking, messaging and passwords, a supported device is the safer choice. As a spare without your main accounts (alarm clock, music player, camera), it's still useful. Do a factory reset before you give it away or recycle it.
