The Apple iPad Pro (6th generation) in detail
How many years of updates does the Apple iPad Pro (6th generation) get?
In its PSTI statement, Apple gives October 26, 2022 as the date this model first went on sale in the UK. The brand commits to supporting it for at least 5 years from then, which means until October 26, 2027.
That leaves at least 1 year of guaranteed patches.
Going by its past models, Apple kept the middle half of its tablets in our database supported for between 6 years and 10 months and 9 years and 3 months. Applied to this model, released in October 2022, that would put the end between 2029 and 2032. This is an estimate from the brand's track record, not an announcement.
