The Apple iPad Pro 11-inch (2nd generation) in detail
How many years of updates does the Apple iPad Pro 11-inch (2nd generation) get?
In its PSTI statement, Apple gives March 25, 2020 as the date this model first went on sale in the UK. The brand commits to supporting it for at least 5 years from then, which means until March 25, 2025.
That minimum ran out 1 year and 7 months ago. The model still runs the current version of the system, iPadOS 27.
Going by its past models, Apple kept the middle half of its tablets in our database supported for between 6 years and 10 months and 9 years and 3 months. Applied to this model, released in March 2020, that would put the end between 2027 and 2029. This is an estimate from the brand's track record, not an announcement.
Do I need to do anything with my Apple iPad Pro 11-inch (2nd generation)?
Nothing urgent for now. The model still gets patches, but no written commitment covers it anymore, and its end could come with the next system version. Keep automatic updates switched on. The alert above will tell you if an end date is published.
